Working on a Student Project

This semester the sophomore studio has worked on a "Third Place."  Their site is on the location of ECU's Millennial Campus here in Greenville; their building a quartet of flue-cured tobacco barns transported to the site and combined there into one structure.

I worked on the design of the space in order to show students what is possible and what is necessary.  Here is a series of images from the interior.

Tobacco Barn Model 1

Images of a model I built.  This model is based on an assignment I typically give to my freshman studio class, to build a residential space within a flue-cured tobacco barn.
